Life can be complicated. Relationships get strained, emotions can feel big and overwhelming, and experiences from the past can continue to shape how we feel and relate to others. Sometimes we sense something needs to change but aren't quite sure where to begin. Deb works with teens, adults, couples, and families, creating a warm, collaborative space to feel understood, explore what's beneath the surface, and better understand what they need.
She believes our experiences and relationships shape how we understand ourselves, connect with others, and respond to the world around us. Deb’s work is grounded in attachment-based and trauma-informed approaches. When words aren't enough, she might incorporate body-centered, expressive arts, and mindfulness-based approaches to help clients notice and make sense of experiences that can be difficult to put into words.
Deb brings warmth, curiosity, and a straightforward approach to her work. Growing up in a military family taught her to adapt to change and connect with people in new places. With 28 years of marriage, three adult children, and 24 years as a leader in high tech, she made a significant career shift into mental health. Her experiences have given her a deep appreciation for the ways culture, family, relationships, identity, and change can shape our lives.
Deb holds Master's degrees in Marriage and Family Therapy and Education and a Bachelor's degree in English Literature. She is currently accepting new clients.
